On this auspicious Sunday, October 25, 2026 (Aippasi 8 of the Parabhava year), marked by Chaturdashi Tithi, Revati Nakshatra and Amrita Yoga, the sacred Mahakumbhabhishekam of the Adhishthanam of Sadguru Sri Sadashiva Brahmendra and the temple of Sri Kashi Vishwanatha and Sri Vishalakshi Ambika was performed by divine grace, between 8:15 a.m. and 9:30 a.m., during Vrishchika Lagna.
Thousands of devotees gathered in large numbers to participate in this sacred ceremony and experienced immense bliss upon receiving the divine blessings of Sri Kashi Vishwanatha, Sri Vishalakshi, and Sri Sadashiva Brahmendra.

The Divine Life of Sri Sadashiva Brahmendra
Sri Sadashiva Brahmendra was an extraordinary Avadhuta Sannyasi. He was born by divine grace towards the end of the seventeenth century to Sri Moksha Somanatha Avadhani and Srimati Parvatamma, who resided in Madurai. His childhood name was Sri Shivaramakrishna Sharma.
Endowed with exceptional intelligence from an early age, he completed his initial education in Madurai and subsequently proceeded to Tiruvisainallur, where he studied under Sri Ramasubba Shastri. Sri Sridhara Venkatesa Ayyaval and Sri Bodhendra Saraswati Swamiji were his contemporaries. It is also traditionally said that Mahabhashyam Gopalakrishna Shastri of Bhikshandar Kovil studied with him.
Even in his youth, Sri Shivaramakrishna Sharma developed dispassion towards worldly life and a deep inclination towards Sannyasa. He sought refuge in Sri Paramashivendra Saraswati — the eighteenth-century sage and disciple of Sri Abhinava Narayanendra Saraswati, and author of the Vedantic treatise Dahara Vidya Prakashika.
Receiving Sannyasa in accordance with tradition from Sri Paramashivendra Saraswati, he was given the monastic name Sri Sadashivendra Saraswati.
A Paramahamsa Sannyasi, he became widely renowned as Sri Sadashiva Brahmendra. In the compositions he authored, he employed the signature Paramahamsa, referring to his Guru.
Having thoroughly mastered the Vedanta Shastras expounded by Jagadguru Sri Adi Shankaracharya under the guidance of his Guru, he remained — like his Guru and Paramaguru — an independent Sannyasi without any affiliation to any Math or monastic institution.
His Vow of Silence and Avadhuta Life
Sri Sadashiva Brahmendra, who guided the world along the path of spiritual welfare, possessed extraordinary eloquence, profound understanding and exceptional debating skills, with which he could silence even the most accomplished disputants.
A well-known traditional account relates that his Guru, concerned that his disciple might become excessively absorbed in debate without putting the essence of the teachings into spiritual practice (Sadhana), once exclaimed in displeasure, “Will your mouth not remain closed?”
Fully understanding the deeper significance of his Guru's words, Sri Brahmendra immediately undertook a vow of silence, which he observed from that moment onwards.
Beyond maintaining silence, he lived as a supreme Avadhuta, with the directions themselves as his garment. Exposed to the scorching sun, biting cold and pouring rain, he wandered through forests, hills and riverbanks, spending his life absorbed in the bliss of the Atman.
Ever immersed in contemplation of the Divine, he attained extraordinary spiritual powers through divine grace.
His Literary and Musical Contributions
Sri Sadashiva Brahmendra authored several profound works, including Atma Vidya Vilasa, Atmanusandhanam, Navamanimala, Advaita Rasamanjari, Siddhanta Kalpavalli, Brahmasutra Vritti (Brahma Tattva Prakashika) and Yoga Sutra Vritti (Yoga Sudhakara).
He also composed numerous devotional songs in praise of Sri Rama, Sri Krishna and the Supreme Brahman. Among his celebrated compositions are Bruhi Mukundeti, Sarvam Brahmamayam, Manasa Sancharare, Tunga Tarange Gange, Chinta Nasti Kila, Piba re Ramarasam, Bhajare Gopalam and Tattvajivatvam. These compositions continue to be widely sung in the world of Carnatic music.
Travelling extensively throughout Bharat, Sri Brahmendra performed numerous extraordinary spiritual acts and bestowed his blessings upon all. He also served as a spiritual guide to rulers, including the Maharajas of Mysore, Pudukkottai and Thanjavur.
Jeeva Samadhi at Nerur
Around 1755–1756, Sri Brahmendra is said to have appeared in the dreams of the aforementioned ru lers and informed them that he would enter Jeeva Samadhi on a particular day at Nerur, on the banks of the River Kaveri near Karur. Accordingly, on Vaishakha Shukla Dashami, in the presence of all, he entered Jeeva Samadhi with his physical body.
Before this sacred event, he had informed the residents of Nerur that a Bilva plant would emerge above his Samadhi. He further foretold that, on the twelfth day following his Jeeva Samadhi, a Brahmana would arrive from Kashi carrying a Bana Linga, which was to be consecrated twelve feet to the east of his Samadhi.
In recognition of his extraordinary Siddhis, tradition holds that Sri Brahmendra attained Samadhi simultaneously at three places: Nerur, Manamadurai and Karachi.
“The ways of great Mahatmas can truly be understood only by other Mahatmas.”
It is a matter of historical record that Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sacchidananda Shivabhinava Nrisimha Bharati Mahaswamiji of Dakshinamnaya Sringeri Sri Sharada Peetham visited Nerur during His four-year Vijaya Yatra (1907-1911), spent three days absorbed in meditation at Sri Brahmendra's Samadhi, had His Darshana and composed Stotras in His praise.
Referring to the tradition of Sri Brahmendra's Samadhi at three places, the Sringeri Jagadguru explained that it would be appropriate to understand this as Sri Brahmendra having relinquished His Sthula, Sukshma and Karana Shariras — the gross, subtle and causal bodies — at three different locations.
As foretold, the Bana Linga brought by the Brahmana was duly consecrated, and the Maharaja of Pudukkottai subsequently constructed a temple there. This became the temple of Sri Kashi Vishwanatha and Sri Vishalakshi. From that time until the present day, Agamic worship has continued uninterrupted at the temple, while Vedic worship has been performed at the Adhishthanam.
Every year, Sri Brahmendra's Aradhana Mahotsava is celebrated with great devotion on the sacred anniversary of His Jeeva Samadhi. All those who aspire to attain the highest purpose of human life continue to revere Sri Brahmendra as their Guru and receive His blessings.
The Mahakumbhabhishekam of October 25, 2026
On the auspicious Sunday, October 25, 2026, corresponding to Aippasi 8 of the Parabhava year, with Chaturdashi Tithi, Revati Nakshatra and Amrita Yoga, the Mahakumbhabhishekam of the Adhishthanam of Sadguru Sri Sadashiva Brahmendra and the temple of Sri Kashi Vishwanatha and Sri Vishalakshi Ambika was performed between 8:15 a.m. and 9:30 a.m., during Vrischika Lagna, by divine grace.
Thousands of devotees assembled in large numbers, participated in the sacred festivities and experienced immense spiritual joy upon receiving the blessings of Sri Kashi Vishwanatha with Sri Vishalakshi Ambika and Sri Sadashiva Brahmendra.
Several distinguished personalities attended the ceremony and received divine blessings. Among them was Smt. Charubala Tondaiman, a member of the illustrious Tondaiman royal lineage.
The Yagashala ceremonies associated with the Kumbhabhishekam were conducted with great dedication by the following Sivacharyas: Sri D. Sivaraja Sivacharyar, Sarva Sadhakam and Sivagama Selvar, Sri D. Chandrasekhara Sivacharyar, Archaka of Sri Ratnagirishwara Temple, Ayyarmalai, Sri K. Nagendrakumar, Archaka of Sri Kashi Vishwanatha Temple and Sri Sadashiva Brahmendra Adhishthanam, Nerur.
Sri S. Karthikeyan, Assistant Commissioner of the Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Department, Pudukkottai District, and Smt. R. Ranjitha, Executive Officer, made excellent arrangements for the convenience of devotees. Smt. S. V. Harshini, Assistant Commissioner, Tiruppur District, also participated in the celebrations. Sri Balasubramaniam and Sri Arul Periyasamy, administrators of the Nerur Adhishthanam, made commendable arrangements for the Mahakumbhabhishekam.
The Historic Association of the Sringeri Jagadgurus with Nerur
It is widely known that, ever since the time of the 33rd Shankaracharya of Dakshinamnaya Sringeri Sri Sharada Peetham, Jagadguru Sri Sri Sri Sacchidananda Shivabhinava Nrisimha Bharati Mahaswamiji, who brought this Adhishthanam (Samadhi shrine) to the attention of the world in 1908 and enabled countless devotees to receive the blessings of this great Mahatma, successive Sringeri Shankaracharyas have contributed to the development and spiritual activities of the Adhishthanam.
The Sringeri Jagadgurus have visited the Adhishthanam on several occasions and worshipped Sri Sadashiva Brahmendra, praying for the welfare of the world.
The 34th Shankaracharya, Jagadguru Sri Sri Sri Chandrashekhara Bharati Mahaswamiji, visited in 1925 and offered worship at the Adhishthanam. The 35th Shankaracharya, Jagadguru Sri Sri Abhinava Vidyatirtha Mahaswamiji, worshipped at the Adhishthanam in 1962, 1965 and 1980. The present Peethadhipati and 36th Shankaracharya, Jagadguru Sri Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahaswamiji, visited in 1975, 1980, 1987, 1988, 2012 and 2017 and offered worship at the Adhishthanam. The 37th Shankaracharya, Jagadguru Sri Sri Sri Vidhushekhara Bharati Mahaswamiji, visited in 2017 and offered worship along with his revered Guru.
On all these occasions, the Jagadgurus worshipped Sri Sadashiva Brahmendra at His sacred Adhishthanam and offered prayers for universal welfare.
Anugraha Sandesha of Jagadguru Sri Vidhushekhara Bharati Mahaswamiji
For this sacred occasion, Jagadguru Sri Sri Sri Vidhushekhara Bharati Mahaswamiji of Sringeri graciously delivered His Anugraha Sandesha.
The Jagadguru cited the Mantra from the Mundaka Upanishad:
“तस्मादात्मज्ञं ह्यर्चयेद्भूतिकामः”
Explaining the significance of this Upanishadic teaching, the Jagadguru blessed the devotees, stating that by worshipping and serving Atma Jnanis such as Sri Sadashiva Brahmendra, people throughout the world would attain all welfare and prosperity.
Participation of Sringeri Math in the Mahakumbhabhishekam
Earlier, on 29th September 2026, authorities of Sri Sadashiva Brahmendra Adhisthanam and the Kashi Vishwanatha temple of Nerur, led by Sri Balasubramanian had Darshan of the Sringeri Jagadgurus, submitted reverentially the invitation of the Kumbhabhishekam event and sought blessings for the successful conduct of the Kumbhabhishekam ceremonies.
The Sringeri Math offered substantial service towards the renovation and restoration works associated with this Mahakumbhabhishekam. On behalf of the Sringeri Math, Sri Sridhar Chityala, Dharmadhikari of the Sringeri Shankara Math at Nerur, took-up responsibility along with his wife Smt. Sharada Chityala, as the principal Dharmakarta for the Kumbhabhishekam ceremonies, including the Yagashala Pujas that commenced on October 22. He offered Sambhavana to all the Shivacharyas on the preceding day. He also arranged for Vedic scholars and scholars of the Shastras to perform the respective Parayanas and honoured them with Sambhavana, thereby rendering his devoted service to the sacred occasion. Beginning October 26, 2026, Mandala Puja will be performed for 48 days at the sacred Adhishthanam.

இன்று மங்களகரமான பராபவ வருடம் ஜப்பசி மாதம் 8ந் தேதி (25.10.2026) ஞாயிற்றுக்கிழமை சதுர்த்தசி திதியும், ரேவதி நக்ஷத்திரமும், அமிர்தயோகமும் கூடிய சுபயோக சுபதினத்தில் காலை 8.15 மணிக்கு மேல் 9.30 மணிக்குள், விருச்சிக லக்னத்தில், திருவருள் கூட்டி வைத்தவண்ணம் ஸ்ரீ சத்குரு ஸ்ரீசதாசிவ பிரம்மேந்திராள் அதிஷ்டானம் மற்றும் ஸ்ரீ காசி விஸ்வநாதர் - ஸ்ரீ விசாலாட்சி அம்மனுக்கு மஹாகும்பாபிஷேகம் என்னும் திருக்குட நன்னீராட்டுப் பெருவிழா நடைபெற்று ஆயிரக்கணக்கான பக்தகோடி பெருமக்கள் பெரும்திரளாகக் கலந்து கொண்டு, ஸ்ரீ விசாலாக்ஷி அம்பிகா சமேத ஸ்ரீ காசி விஸ்வநாதர் மற்றும் ஸ்ரீசதாசிவ பிரம்மேந்திராளின் திருவருள் பெற்று பேரானந்தம் அடைந்தனர்.
ஶ்ரீசதாசிவ பிரம்மேந்திரர் ஓர் அபூர்வ அவதூத சன்யாசி. மதுரையில் வாழ்ந்துவந்த ஶ்ரீமோக்ஷ சோமநாத அவதானி மற்றும் ஶ்ரீமதி பார்வதிஅம்மாள் தம்பதிக்கு மகனாக இறையருளால் 17 ஆம் நூற்றாண்டின் இறுதியில் அவதரித்தார். இவரது இயற்பெயர் சிவராமகிருஷ்ணன். சிறுவயது முதலே அறிவில் சிறந்துவிளங்கிய இவர் மதுரையில் தமது படிப்பை முடித்துக்கொண்டு திருவிசைநல்லூர் சென்று ஶ்ரீராமசுப்பா சாஸ்த்திரிகளிடம் பயின்றார். ஶ்ரீ ஶ்ரீதரவேங்கடேச அய்யாவாள் மற்றும் ஶ்ரீபோதேந்திர ஸரஸ்வதி ஸ்வாமிகள் ஆகியோர் இவரது சமகாலத்தவர்கள். பிக்ஷாண்டார் கோயில் மஹாபாஷ்யம் கோபாலகிருஷ்ண சாஸ்த்திரியும் இவருடன் படித்தார் என்று சொல்வதுண்டு.
சிவராமகிருஷ்ணன் சிறுவயதிலேயே குடும்ப வாழ்க்கையை வெறுத்து சன்னியாசத்தில் ஆர்வம் கொண்டார். பதினெட்டாம் நூற்றாண்டில் வாழ்ந்தவரும் ஶ்ரீஅபிநவ நாராயணேந்திர ஸரஸ்வதி அவர்களின் சீடரும் தஹரவித்யாபிரகாசிகா என்ற வேதாந்தநூலை இயற்றியவருமான ஶ்ரீ பரமசிவேந்திர சரஸ்வதி அவர்களை சரணடைந்து அவரிடமிருந்து முறைப்படி துறவறம் ஏற்று ஶ்ரீ ஸதாசிவேந்திர ஸரஸ்வதி என்ற திருநாமம் பெற்றார். பரமஹம்ஸ ஸன்னியாசியான இவர் ஶ்ரீ ஸதாசிவ பிரஹ்மேந்திராள் என்றே அழைக்கப்பட்டதுடன் தாம் இயற்றிய கீர்த்தனைகளில் “பரமஹம்ஸ” என்று தமது குருவை குறிப்பதாகவே முத்திரையையே வழங்கிவந்தார். ஜகத்குரு ஶ்ரீஆதிசங்கரர் போதித்த வேதாந்த சாஸ்த்திரத்தை தமது குருவிடம் சிறப்பாக கற்றுத்தேர்ந்த இவர், தமது குரு மற்றும் பரமகுருவைப் போலவே எந்த ஒரு மடத்திற்கும் சேராத சுதந்திரமான ஸன்னியாசியாக உலகிற்கு நல்வழிகாட்டுபவராக விளங்கிவந்தார்
ஶ்ரீ பிரம்மேந்திரர் தமது நாவன்மையாலும் தெளிந்த அறிவினாலும்,சிறந்த வாதத்திறமையாலும் எவரையும் வாயடைக்கச் செய்யும் திறன்வாய்ந்த இவர் வாதத்திலேயே அக்கறையுள்ளவராக வாதத்தின் பொருளை பொருட்படுத்தாமல் போய்விடக்கூடாதென்பதால் “உன் வாய் அடைக்காதா?” என சினந்துகொண்ட குருவின் உத்தரவைப் முழுவதுமாகப் புரிந்துகொண்டு அடுத்த விநாடி முதல் மௌனவிரதத்தைக்கடைபிடித்தார் என்கிற செவிவழிச் செய்தி மிகவும் பிரஸித்தியாக இருக்கிறது.மௌனமட்டுமல்லாமல் திசைகளே தமக்கு ஆடையாக தலைசிறந்த அவதூதராக வெயிலில் காய்ந்தும், பனியில் உலர்ந்தும், மழையில் நனைந்தும் காடு மேடுகளிலும் ஆற்றங்கரைகளிலும் ஆன்மதியானத்தில் வாழ்நாளைக் கழித்தார். எப்போதும் இறைசிந்தனையோடு வாழ்ந்து இறையருளால் அனைத்து சித்திகளையும் கைவரப் பெற்றார்.
ஆத்ம வித்யா விலாசம், ஆத்மானுசந்தானம், நவமணிமாலா, அத்வைத ரஸமஞ்சரி, சித்தாந்த கல்பவல்லி, ப்ரஹ்மஸூத்ர வ்ருத்தி, யோக சுதாகரா, போன்ற பல நூல்களை இயற்றினார். அவர் ஶ்ரீராமரையும், ஶ்ரீ கிருஷ்ணரையும், பரபரஹ்மத்தையும் துதித்து பல்வேறு பாடல்களை அருளிச்செய்தார். அவற்றுள் ப்ரூஹி முகுந்தேதி, ஸர்வம் ப்ரஹ்ம மயம், மானஸ சஞ்சரரே, துங்க தரங்கேகங்கே, சிந்தா நாஸ்திகில, பஜரே கோபாலம், தத்வஜ்ஜீவத்வம் போன்ற கிருதிகள் கர்னாடக சங்கீத உலகில் அனைவராலும் பாடப்பட்டு வருகின்றன.
நமது பாரதநாடு முழுதும் சுற்றித்திரிந்து, பல சித்துக்கள் புரிந்து அனைவருக்கும் அருள்பாலித்து வந்த ஶ்ரீ பிரம்மேந்திரர் மைசூர் மஹாராஜா, புதுக்கோட்டை மஹாராஜா மற்றும் தஞ்சாவூர் மஹாராஜா போன்றோருக்கும் ஆன்ம வழிகாட்டியாக விளங்கினார்.
இறுதியாக 1755-56 ஆம்ஆண்டு மேற்கூறிய மன்னர்களின் கனவில் தோன்றி தான் கரூருக்கு அருகிலுள்ள நெரூரில் காவிரி ஆற்றங் கரையில் ஒரு குறிப்பிட்ட நாளில் ஜீவசமாதி அடையப்போவதாகத்தெரிவித்தார். அதேபோல் அனைவரது முன்னிலையில் வைசாக சுக்ல தசமி நாளன்று தமது ஸ்தூல சரீரத்துடன் ஜீவ சமாதி அடைந்தார். இந்நிகழ்வுக்கு முன்னரே அவ்வூர் பெருமக்களிடம் தமது சமாதியின் மேல் ஒரு வில்வ செடி தோன்றும் என்றும் ஜீவசமாதி ஆனதற்குப்பின் 12 ஆம்நாள் காசியிலிருந்து ஒரு பிராமணர் பாணலிங்கம் கொண்டு வருவார் என்றும் அந்தலிங்கத்தை சமாதிக்கு கிழக்கே 12 அடியில் பிரதிஷ்டை செய்யவேண்டும் என்றும் கூறிச்சென்றார். இவருடைய ஸித்தி வன்மையை யொட்டியே இவர் ஒரே காலத்தில் நெரூர், மானாமதுரை மற்றும் கராச்சியில் ஸமாதி அடைந்ததாகச் சொல்லப்படுகிறது. பாம்பின் கால் பாம்பறியும் என்று கூறுவதைப் போல மஹான்களின் போக்கும் மஹான்களுக்கே தெரியும். இந்த விஷயத்தை தக்ஷிணாம்நாய சிருங்கேரி ஶ்ரீசாரதாபீடத்தை அலங்கரித்த ஜகத்குரு ஶ்ரீ ஸச்சிதானன்ந்த சிவாபிநவ நரஸிம்ஹ பாரதீ மஹாஸ்வாமிகள், தமது விஜயயாத்திரை ஸந்தர்பத்தில் நெரூருக்கு விஜயம் செய்து மூன்று நாட்கள் ஶ்ரீபிரஹ்மேந்திரரின் ஸமாதியில் தியானத்தில் ஆழ்ந்து அவரை தரிசித்து அவர்மேல் ஸ்தோத்திரங்கள் இயற்றியது வரலாறு. அப்போது இவரை துதித்த சிருங்கேரி ஆசார்யார், மூன்று இடங்களிலுள்ள ஸமாதியைப் பற்றி ஸ்தூல-ஸூக்ஷ்ம-காரண சரீரங்களை மூன்று இடங்களில் பிரம்மேந்திரர் நீத்தார் என்று சொல்வது பொருந்துமென்று விளக்கினார். மேலும் அவரது சூக்ஷ்ம சரீரம் மானா மதுரையிலும், காரண சரீரம் காராச்சியிலும்( தற்போதைய பாகிஸ்தானில்) உள்ளது. அவ்வாறே பிராமணர் கொணர்ந்த பாணலிங்கம் பிரதிஷ்டை செய்யப்பட்டு புதுக்கோட்டை மஹாராஜாவினால் கோவிலும் கட்டப்பட்டது. அதுவே காசி விஸ்வநாதர் விசாலாக்ஷி கோவிலாகும். அன்று தொட்டு இன்றுவரை இக்கோவிலில் ஆகமபூஜைகளும் அதிஷ்டானத்தில் வைதிக பூஜைகளும் இடைவிடாமல் நிகழ்ந்து வருகின்றன.
ஒவ்வொரு ஆண்டும் அந்நாளில் சிறப்பான முறையில் அவருக்கு ஆராதனை விழா நடைபெற்று வருகிறது. மனித வாழ்க்கையின் உயர்நிலையை நாடுபவர்கள் அனைவரும் ஶ்ரீபிரஹ்மேந்திரரைக் குருநாதராகக் கொண்டு பயன்பெற்றுவருகிறார்கள்.
இன்றூ மங்களகரமான பராபவ வருடம் ஜப்பசி மாதம் 8ந் தேதி (25.10.2026) ஞாயிற்றுக்கிழமை சதுர்த்தசி திதியும், ரேவதி நக்ஷத்திரமும், அமிர்தயோகமும் கூடிய சுபயோக சுபதினத்தில் காலை 8.15 மணிக்கு மேல் 9.30 மணிக்குள், விருச்சிக லக்னத்தில், திருவருள் கூட்டி வைத்தவண்ணம் ஸ்ரீ சத்குரு ஸ்ரீசதாசிவ பிரம்மேந்திராள் அதிஷ்டானம் மற்றும் ஸ்ரீ காசி விஸ்வநாதர் - ஸ்ரீ விசாலாட்சி அம்மனுக்கு மஹாகும்பாபிஷேகம் என்னும் திருக்குட நன்னீராட்டுப் பெருவிழா நடைபெற்று ஆயிரக்கணக்கான பக்தகோடி பெருமக்கள் பெருந்திரளாகக் கலந்து கொண்டு, ஸ்ரீ விசாலாக்ஷி அம்பிகா சமேத ஸ்ரீ காசி விஸ்வநாதர் மற்றும் ஸ்ரீசதாசிவ பிரம்மேந்திராளின் திருவருள் பெற்று பேரானந்தம் அடைந்தனர்.
இவ்விழாவில் பல்வேறு முக்கியப் பிரமுகர்கள் கலந்து கொண்டு இறையருள் பெற்றனர். அவர்களில் முக்கியமாக தொண்டைமான் வம்சபரம்பரையினரான திரு சாருபாலா தொண்டைமான் கலநதுகொண்டு ஆசிபெற்றார். சர்வ சாதகம் சிவாகம செல்வர் D. சிவராஜ சிவாச்சாரியார் அவர்கள், அருள்மிகு ஸ்ரீரெத்னகிரீஸ்வர் ஆலய அர்ச்சகர் (அய்யர்மலை) D. சந்திரசேகர சிவாச்சாரியார் அவர்கள் ஸ்ரீ காசி விஸ்வநாதர் திருக்கோவில் அர்ச்சகர் (நெரூர்) K. நாகேந்திரகுமார் அவர்கள் ஸ்ரீசதாசிவ பிரம்மேந்திராள் ஆலய அர்ச்சகர் (நெரூர்) ஆகியோர் கும்பாபிஷேக யாகசாலை நிகழ்ச்சிகளை சிறப்பாக செய்தனர்.
புதுக்கோட்டை மாவட்டம் இந்து சமய அறநிலையத்துறை உதவி ஆணையர் S. கார்த்திகேயன் மற்றும் செயல் அலுவலர் ர. ரஞ்சிதா சிறந்த முறையில் பக்தர்களுக்கு தேவையான ஏற்பாடுகளை செய்து கொடுத்தனர். திருப்பூர் மாவட்ட உதவி ஆணையராக S.V. ஹர்ஷினி அவர்களும் இதில் கலந்து கொண்டார். நெரூர் அதிஷ்டானத்தின் நிர்வாகிக: நிர்வாகிகள் பாலசுப்பிரமணியம் மற்றும் அருள் பெரியசாமி கும்பாபிஷேத்திற்கு சிறந்த ஏற்பாடுகளைச் செய்தனர்.
இந்த அதிஷ்டானத்தை (சமாதியை) 1908 ஆம் ஆண்டில் உலகிற்குத் தெரியப்படுத்தி இந்த மஹானின் அருளை எல்லோருக்கும் பெற்றுக்கொடுத்த தக்ஷிணாம்நாய சிருங்கேரி சாரதாபீடத்தின் 33வது சங்கராசார்யர், ஜகத்குரு ஶ்ரீ ஶ்ரீ ஶ்ரீ ஸச்சிதனந்த சிவாபிநவ ந்ருஸிம்ஹ பாரதீ மஹாஸ்வாமிகள் அவர்களின் காலத்திலிருந்து இன்றுவரை ஒவ்வொரு சிருங்கேரி சங்கராசார்யரும் இந்த அதிஷ்டானத்தின் முன்னேற்றத்திற்கு தமது சேவைகளைச் செய்துவருவது உலகோர் அறிந்த ஒன்று. சிருங்கேரி 34-வது சங்கராசார்யர் ஜகத்குரு ஶ்ரீஶ்ரீஶ்ரீ சந்திரசேகர பாரதீ மஹாஸ்வாமிகள் 1925 ஆம் ஆண்டிலும், 35-வது சங்கராசார்யர் ஜகத்குரு ஶ்ரீ ஶ்ரீ அபிநவ வித்யாதீர்த்த மஹாஸ்வாமிக: 1962, 1965 மற்றும் 1980-ஆம் ஆண்டுகளிலும், தற்போதைய பீடாதிபதியும் 36-வது சங்கராசார்யரான, ஜகத்குரு ஶ்ரீஶ்ரீஶ்ரீ பாரதீதீர்த்த மஹாஸ்வாமிகள் 1975, 1987, 1988, 2012 மற்றும் 2017, 37-வது சங்கராசார்யரான, ஜகத்குரு ஶ்ரீஶ்ரீஶ்ரீவிதுசேகர பாரதீ மஹாஸ்வாமிகள் 2017 ஆம் ஆண்டிலும் இந்த அதிஷ்டானத்தில் ஶ்ரீஸதாசிவ பிரம்மேந்திராளைப் பூஜித்து உலகநன்மைக்காகப் பிராத்தித்தனர்.
இந்த கும்பாபிஷேக சமயத்தில் ஜீர்ணோத்தார பணிகளுக்கு பெருமளவு தனது சேவையை செய்துள்ள சிருங்கேரிமடத்தின் சார்பாக கும்பாபிஷேக நிகழ்ச்சிகளுக்கும் 22-ஆம் தேதியிலிருந்து தொடங்கிய யாகசாலைப்பூஜையில் கும்பாபிஷேக கார்யங்களிலும் சிருங்கேரி நெரூர் மடத்தின் தர்மாதிகாரி ஶ்ரீதர்சிட்டியால பிரதான தர்மகர்தாவாகப் பொறுப்பெடுத்துக்கொண்டு நேற்று அனைத்து சிவாசார்யர்களுக்கும் சம்பாவனை நல்கி வேதபாராயணங்கள்,சாஸ்த்திர நூல்களை பாராயணம் செய்தோரை நியமித்து அவர்களுக்கும் சம்பாவனை அளித்து தன்னுடைய சேவையைச் செலுத்தியது.
இந்த நிகழ்சிக்காக தமது அருளுரையை வழங்கிய சிருங்கேரி சங்கராசார்யரான, ஜகத்குரு ஶ்ரீஶ்ரீஶ்ரீவிதுசேகர பாரதீ மஹாஸ்வாமிகள் “தஸ்மாதாத்மஜ்ஞம் ஹ்யர்சயேத் பூதிகாம:” என்று முண்டகோபநிஷத் மந்திரத்தையும் அதன் பொருளையும் விளக்கியருளி ஶ்ரீ ஸதாசிவ ப்ரஹ்மேந்திரரைப்போன்ற ஆத்மஞானிகளை பூஜித்து சேவைசெய்வதால் உலகமக்கள் நன்மைகள் அனைத்தையும் பெறுவர் என்று பக்தர்களை ஆசீர்வதித்தார்.
நாளைமுதல் 48 நாட்கள் மண்டல பூஜை நடைபெற இருக்கிறது.
