Shrauta MahaSammelanam Concludes
The annual Shrauta Maha Sammelan was conducted at Dakshinamnaya Sringeri Sri Sharada Peetham from Vishwavasu Samvatsara, Magha-Krishna-Chaturthi (February 5, 2026) to Magha-Krishna-Shashti (February 7, 2026). The event concluded with a valedictory function on February 7th evening. Agnihotris and scholars in the Vedas, Shastras and Shrauta from various parts of Bharat were honoured in this grand event. Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Sri Vidhushekhara Bharati Sannidhanam blessed one and all with an Anugraha Bhashanam in chaste Sanskrit.

Sharadamba Maharathotsava
The annual Sharadamba Maharathotsava took place on February 04, 2026. The Utsava Murti of Goddess Sharadamba was taken along the main streets of Sringeri in a decorated Ratha. Jagadguru Sri Sri Vidhushekhara Bharati Sannidhanam led the procession amidst chants of the Vedas. The previous day, Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahasannidhanam performed a special Puja to Goddess Sharadamba.
As part of the Celebrations, a Shatachandi Yaga was conducted near the Sharadamba temple. The Poornahuti of the Shatachandi Yaga, which commenced on February 01, took place in the divine presence of Sri Sannidhanam on February 05. Teppotsava of Goddess Sharadamba took place in the divine presence of Sri Sannidhanam the same evening.

Ratha Saptami was celebrated today on January 25, 2026. Jagadguru Sri Sannidhanam graced the Poornahuti ceremony of the Surya Homa which was performed in the morning at the Sri Narasimha Bharati Yagashala opposite the temple of Sri Sharadamba. Following the homa, A special puja was performed to Lord Sri Surya-Narayana seated in a Sandalwood Ratha in the presence of the Ubhaya Jagadgurus.
In the afternoon, Jagadguru Sri Sri Sri Vidhushekhara Bharati Sannidhanam performed special puja to Lord Sri Suryanarayana at the temple in Elmagge. Phala-Panchamruta Abhisheka was performed to the sonorous chanting of Vedic mantras by the Pandits of the Math. Following the abhisheka the Maha-Saura-Sukta of the Rigveda was also recited. The puja concluded with the Maha-Mangala-Aratrika late in the noon.

Sri Saaraswata Panchami - Vishesha Puja to Sri Sharadamba
Sri Saraswata Panchami was celebrated on January 23, 2026. On this auspicious occasion, Jagadguru Sri Sri Vidhushekhara Bharati Sannidhanam offered special worship to Goddess Sri Sharadamba and concluded the Puja with the Mahamangalarati to Sri Sharadamba.
Later, Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahasannidhanam arrived at the temple and had Darshan.
In the divine presence of Jagadguru Sri Sannidhanam, the Poornahuti of the Sahasra Chandi Homa, Rudra Homa, and Lalita Homa was performed.

Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Vidhushekhara Bharati Mahaswamiji inaugurated a New OPD Block and Dialysis Unit at the Sri Abhinava Vidyatirtha Multispecialty Hospital, Sringeri.
Dhanvantri Homa Poornahuti took place in the divine presence of Sri Jagadguru on this occasion.
The expansion of infrastructure and services at SAVMH, Sringeri, with the blessings of the Ubhaya Jagadgurus, is making quality healthcare readily available to residents of this region, reducing their dependence on long, 100-kilometre journeys along ghat roads.
